Warren

  •  I'm a de-facto pastor of a small (10-15 member) church in Selawik, Alaska.  For more details and regular updates, view our sponsor church's page for us.
  • During the day, I help home school our eight-year old daughter, Sara in music and math.
  • Also during the day, I work on my software development projects as well as web site development and consulting.
  • I run a local FM radio station (powered by a Ramsey FM-30  and a DVD player) with over a month of  promming on a DVD.
  • Other things I do during the day include running to the Post Office (by "snowgo" or a "Honda" 4-wheeler-- which is actually a Polaris, but all ATVs are "Hondas" here), to the two grocery stores to see if any fresh vegetables or fruit have come in, and outside to "slide" (go sledding) with the kids who've just gotten out of school for the day.
  • I enjoy music (a very little composing, slightly more performing and playing with, and much listening).  Here are some of my current favorites.

Verity

  • I am homschooling Sara and learning a lot especially about history.   This year will be busier with Miriam joining the family and Abby joining Waldenesian North Preparatory Academy as a preschooler.
  • I am teaching Sabbath school for Primary to Youth which is interesting and fun. We have finished studying Moses and Daniel and are now doing a unit on being Christian soldiers.
  • My main personal goal right now is writing.  I am becoming interested in writing some children's literature that will deepen their faith and understanding of Adventist beliefs, but that seems a long way off.  I am hoping to find time to write a children's book about Maniilaq, the Eskimo prophet, who taught about a weekly rest day, health, and fearing God instead of the shamans.
  • Every blue moon, I find time for scrapbooking and sewing projects.

Sara

  • I am learning to write cursive.
  • I like to write stories, draw pictures and act out stories (especially of Bible and church history).
  • Sledding is a lot of fun.
  • I have lots of friends.
  • I am becoming toothless.
  • I look like Mommy.

Abby

  •  I like washing dishes, water is fun.
  • Singing is fun.
  • I can draw and act out stories just like Sara.
  • Going outside can be cold.
  • I am very cuddly.
  • I look like Meg Ryan, especially when I smile like this.

Miriam

  • I like to hold things.
  • Playing pattycake can make me laugh.
  • I am watching everybody.
  • I look like me, with dark brown hair
  • Got Milk?
